Getting to Hawke's Bay
By road: From the south, Hawke's Bay is approximately 4 hours drive from Wellington. From the North, it is approximately 5 hours drive from Auckland.
By coach: Coach services to Hawke's Bay operate daily from Auckland, Gisborne, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Taupo and Wellington.
By air: Flights from Auckland and Wellington take approximately one hour. There are also direct flights to and from Christchurch in the South Island. Napier Airport is approximately 20 minutes drive from Havelock North.
Getting to Sunny Nook:
- From the Havelock North village centre, drive along Te Mata Road and turn right up Duart Road.
- Follow Duart Road for approximately 1.4 kilometers until the road bears left into Tauroa Road.
- Follow Tauroa Road (a no exit road) until the end.
- The Sunny Nook bed and breakfast is number 193A (the first house up the driveway).
